Jacket: Express Minus the Leather Double Peplum Jacket (On Sale for $76.80) / BP. Flannel Plaid Top from Nordstrom – find similar styles here (Purchased from local consignment shop, Uptown Cheapskate for $11.99 – similar styles retail for $59) / AG Leatherette Black-Plum Pants (Retails for $275, Purchased from Poshmark for $30 plus $4.99 shipping) / Shoes: Jimmy Choo Cosmic Pumps (Retails for $675 but as low as $225 on Poshmark)

Love designer fashion but on a budget? That’s where consignment shops and Poshmark come into play. Through sites like Poshmark that sell gently used clothing from other users “closets” for deeply discounted prices and your local consignment shops (I’ve found some great items from Uptown Cheapskate which has stores across the nation in 21 states – to see if there’s one near you click here) = problem solved! You can find some great designer items at up to 50-75% off.

If you like a particular brand of denim and know your size then Poshmark is great. I like AG Jeans by Adriano Goldschmied and know that I’m a size 25 in this brand, so I can easily search other users “closets” for exactly what I’m looking for. I found 2 pairs of AG leatherette pants for around $40 plus shipping (Poshmark will even notify you if an item you’ve “favorited” drops in price and will offer you limited-time offer shipping deals). You can even “make an offer” to another Poshmark user if you feel like what they’re asking for on a particular piece of clothing is too high. Both “offers” I’ve made on Poshmark were reasonable ($5-$10 less than what the seller was asking) and have been accepted. The key reason why it’s important to know your size and be sure to ask plenty of questions to the seller prior to purchasing or making an offer is because Poshmark doesn’t allow returns for an item that doesn’t fit. They do however offer a money-back guarantee for any item that isn’t in the condition promised or has damage that wasn’t disclosed. That being said, if you do happen to purchase an item that doesn’t fit you can always re-list it on Poshmark again.

My black-deep plum leatherette pants I got for $30 plus shipping and they retail on AG’s website and at stores like Nordstrom and Revolve for around $275 new. They were in “like-new” condition when I received them and fit like a glove. The seller indicated that this particular pair of pants ran small so I sized up and they were perfect. They’ve been on constant rotation in my closet so far this Fall. They aren’t a “true black” – they have a bit of a purple-reddish undertone but that was disclosed in the listing. They pair great with my Jimmy Choo Cosmic Pumps in Black leather which retail for $695 but again, if you know your size and don’t mind them being gently used – are for sale on Poshmark for as low as $225.

This sweater is originally from Nordstrom and retails for $68 and I got it at Uptown Cheapskate for $25.99 with New/Original Tags. These are the same leatherette pants I got from Poshmark for $30 plus shipping (Retails $275). See? Designer fashions for less!

Blouse: Nordstrom Grey and White sweater XS (Uptown Cheapskate: $15.99) / Denim: AG Jeans The Farrah Ankle Size 25 ($215) / Grey Cougar Shoes Boots (found at Ross for $35 two seasons ago, Retails for around $150)

This whole look is very affordable! I got my grey Cougar Shoes Boots a few seasons ago at Ross for around $35, the AG Jeans are a bit of a splurge but again, if you know your size you could order these on Poshmark (I’ve seen them as low as $25) and  the Nordstrom top I found at a consignment store for $15.99. If you used Poshmark to order the jeans you could grab this whole look for around $80!

Top: White House Black Market Outlet ($25) / Belt is from White House Black Market and is a few season’s old but they have a similar one online here / Pants are AG Adriano Goldshmied Red Coated Skinnies that I got on Poshmark ($40 plus shipping; Retails for $228) / Black Cougar Shoes Boots are from a few years ago but click here for a similar pair (Retails: $180 but I think I got these on Ebay for around $40)

Again, through sites like Ebay, Poshmark, and an outlet store this whole look is under $100.

Hopefully this gives you a little bit of style inspiration and shows you that you can score a put together Fall fashion look for under $100 with the right resources. I would absolutely recommend Consignment Shopping and Poshmark and Ebay for those looking to find designer fashions on a budget.
